I love that question, don't you? When I ask it, however, I am not asking if you are somehow imbalanced, slightly weird, or odd. What I am referring to is the concept behind the series that we are in which is called ACT NORMAL.
Normal is defined by CONTEXT.
The context of the 'normal' Christian life is not defined by what we see around us today, nor by what we grew up understanding about church or God. Normal Christianity is defined by how closely our life lines up with the life of Jesus and the lifestyle of those who were part of the first church in the book of Acts.
In reality, becoming normal by that definition is not as huge a leap as we think. Everything starts with small steps of obedience in the right direction.
1. One Random Act Of Kindness At A Time.
2. One Conversation About Christ (sharing our faith) At A Time.
3. One Moment In The Presence Of The Holy Spirit At A Time
What small step will you take today?
Remember that a big key in making this process work is that we are not doing this alone. We need PARTNERS to succeed in any new habit we are trying to build. Don't miss your SMALL GROUPS this coming week. Lots of good momentum is at stake in your life.
