I am so excited about the Roundtable that we are hosting at the end of this month. Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26-27th, we will have a gathering of pastors and leaders from all over the nation. This will be our third year to host this great event, and I am convinced that this will be the best yet.
Currently, we have about 80 pastors/leaders signed up for this event. We want to keep it at about 100 so that we can maintain a more informal atmosphere where good discussions can be facilitate and great friendships can be formed.
We call it a 'roundtable' because we meet around tables in clusters based on ministry focus. Youth Pastors, Church Planters, Senior Pastors, Women in Ministry, Associate Staff all meet in discussion groups as we proceed throughout the day.
We alternate between a session with a speaker and a season of interaction. This year our speakers will be Ron Johnson, from Bethel Temple in Hampton, Virginia. Ron has helped to launch 7 daughter churches out of Bethel and is involved with hundreds of churches internationally.
Johannes Amritzer will be a featured speaker from Mission SOS. Johannes has helped to plant 315 churches in regions around the world.
Also, Brad Leach from Church Of The King in Detroit, Michigan will be speaking on God's heart for strategic cities. Brad planted the church he pastors five years ago and has since launched his first daughter church.
During this event, I will also look to present a dream of a new association for churches and leaders that will be focused on living out the book of Acts for today's generation, as well as helping to plant churches in strategic cities. Several pastors who have launched church planting networks in their own cities have discussed coming together to form a relational association that will help fund, resource, and train future church planters.
I am very excited about the potential of this association.
We still have a few spaces left for this year's roundtable. If you a pastor or church leader and are interested in attending, please email Debbie Lynch ([email protected]).
Johannes Amritzer is an amazing and humble man of God. May God's spirit move through your meeting as Johannes teaches and inspires you all
