Greg and Francie Krowitz re-joined our staff this month. They are preparing to launch a brand new church in Tarentum, PA. Greg and Francie gave their lives to Christ at APC back in 1991.
It is so exciting to watch someone grow in life and in ministry. Greg did his studies through Global University. He eventually came on staff at APC as our JV/Children's Pastor. When we launched Sharpsburg Family Worship Center, he joined Russ as his Associate Pastor.
This weekend, Greg and Francie will host their first preview service in the James 5:16 Center right in the heart of Tarentum. What is a preview service? It is a service designed to help prepare all the volunteers and logistics of making a Sunday event happen.
Every third Sunday, Bridgepoint Church will host a preview service for the next five months. The official Grand Opening of the church will be Palm Sunday (March 16) 2008.
Currently, the church is meeting in a very unique location. The James 5:16 is basically a Boxing Gym with additional exercise equipment. It is packed with young people during the week. On Sundays, they will take down the heavy bags, and hold their services right in front of the Boxing Ring.
