This past month, Pastor Ron and Sandy Johnson were selected as the Lead Pastors at a church in Orlando Florida. Ron and Sandy are some of my best friends in ministry. They both have such pastor's hearts and have spoken into my life so many times over the years.
Ron is now the pastor of Markham Woods Assembly Of God. Actually, Ron planted this church back in the '80s and passed the baton to one of his spiritual sons. The church has gone through some challenges in the last few years, attendance has dropped, and there are many needs.
When I talked to Ron this morning, he told me that 'already momentum seems to be returning...families are returning, income is rising, and the foundations of health are again being re-established. If you think of it, pray for Ron and Sandy as they move into this brand new assignment.

First of all, it is true that the church was struggling in recent times. However, as the "spiritual son" that you referred to and as the lead pastor of Markham Woods Assembly of God for 21 years, I have to correct you on a couple of points. Ron Johnson has also been my friend throughout the years, but I am NOT one of his "spiritual sons". I am a peer who was voted in by the church which was in significant spiritual and financial decline and distress at the time. The Lord blessed that decision and the church almost doubled in the years which followed. There were no healthy foundations that were inherited by me as I began leading the church. In fact, he had all the elders and deacons resign in order to reorganize. But six months later, only his father and a wealthy benefactor had been reappointed to the board. Those are not healthy foundations. I love you Ron, but come on man, tell the truth and stop all this Kingdom PR stuff. GF

Ron AND Sandy: I am so greatful God has brought the two of you back home to Wekiva Assembly. So Much has gone on in my life since we last visted. you said God was going to use me in a different type of ministry more Hospital related. Although I was the Senior pastor of two churches in new york Dr. Mark Rutland was kind enough to coach me though the religious spirts who's father built the building. I left but stayed active in psychology as a counselor. fell into sin and God allowed the devil to bring a dreaded disease on me first time out the gate. He is my healer and a ever present help in trouble. the last time I got to see the family was when Nathan was in a Nursing Home. he said He loved me. I never had anyones father like Nathan and Paul treat me as their son. I been so blessed, How I asked God to Bless your entire family for that seed money.I miss Tim and Ruth and My Mom was ill and took a year in hospital same time Nathan was sick .i lost touch cause I left the Ministry and fed my flesh and The Lord is good. he gave me a mobile Home and this week I was given a van. life has been hard i been so ashamed. I feel like I was never called or saved somedays. I looking forward to coming to church . I live on Hiawassi Grove Mobile Home park 6633 stardust 321 439-4216 if Tim Mom or Dad Ruth Steve Larry ect anyone would like to touch base. I want to tell you had a lot of friends in quantico and never once ceased to pray for you and Sandy and Tim and Family. but I love God so much how I allowed myself to fall is shamefull and scadelous. I would not want that past to effect where I am today with God. please write. let me know how everyone is Ormand parents sibling nieces nephews kids. so glade morrisons is no longer there hate to see anyone get some second hand smoke..lol love you both ray,goico@yahoo,com

You are not a Son or a Peer for that matter. A peer wouldn't be suing the members of the church & former board members for finally doing the right thing and voting you out. We as a church are lucky to have survived the pitiful state you left the church in. The only reason I am not leaving my name is for fear that you might serve me with a law suit. I think you need to take a step back and ask God if he would have you suing other believers for your own inabilities to manage and live with integrity.

Hi Ron, I agree with you that a course of clinical psychology counseling should have been
put in place for the pastor who recently was re-ordained. On a more positive note, Google:
"Welsh Outpouring, Victory Church", and listen through an entire service. I find that I am being spiritually refreshed
and challenged by the Jesus first, Jesus Last and Jesus Right Now emphasis of this new Welsh Outpouring. (The last one was in 1905). Drop me a note as to your impressions of this Outpouring. You will need to downlod "Livestream" off the Apple Istore - free.
