This past year, Allison Park Church decided to officially become a member of the ARC (Association Of Related Churches). What is the ARC - it is simply churches and leaders from many various denominations and fellowships - who are committed to planting and growing great churches.
Every weekend, at least one new ARC church begins.
In 2009 ARC planted 55 churches around the country that now welcome more than 13,000 people. In 2010 we are planting 58 more, mentoring and equipping our church planters, and giving millions of dollars to mission projects around the world.
ARC churches average 350 people (the national average is 80) and 90% are still going strong after five years. Partnering together to plant and equip life-giving churches—it just works, and we are privileged to be part of it.
I have had the chance to hang out with some of these leaders and they are truly some of the most innovative and spiritually focused people that I know.
In April - they are hosting their biggest annual event - the ALL ACCESS CONFERENCE. This will be my first to actually attend. They have a fantastic speakers list:
- Mark Batterson
- Steven Furtick
- Matthew Barnett
- Chris Hodges
- Greg Surrat
- ...and more
I'm looking forward to All Access. If you are a church leader or church planter you should check it out.
